For those who are free to enjoy them, there are midweek walks, varying to days, start times and areas.

There are also monthly midweek evening walks during the summer, and these are usually local to the Gordano area.

The programme is interspersed with shorter gentler ambles and other walks of a longer duration, usually from 4 to 12 miles.

For further information about the walks; times, distance and terrain etc., please contact our chairman or secretary who may be able to help you.

The Group is active in arranging walking/social breaks away in good walking areas, usually with hotel accommodation. Other social activities are organised during the year.

If you are not already a member and would like to join our group, please click here for details.

To find if our walks and company are suitable to you, do please join us on a couple of walks first.

Please remember that if you go walking in the country, footpaths can be uneven and very muddy, especially in the winter months, brambles and barbed wire can damage your clothes. Do please wear suitable, sensible footwear and if appropriate, carry adequate waterproof clothing.

It is advised that you carry your own first aid kit.

Although dogs are welcome on walks, they must be kept on a short lead at all times.

We look forward to meeting you on one of our walks.
